Seafloor Physiography and Structural Characteristics off SW Taiwan; Tectonic Evolution and Sedimentological Features off NE Taiwan
Background
I employ various geophysical techniques, including reflection seismics and CHIRP data, for examples, to reveal the subsurface stratigraphic architecture and structural characteristics in marine settings.
My previous study focused on evolution of the Penghu submarine canyon off SW Tawian. I am currently studying the active extensional structures and sedimentological features offshore NE Taiwan, where it has been subjected to extension following the collapse of paleo-Taiwan mountain belt.
