Living benthic foraminifera in sediments on sontinental slope off Southwest Taiwan

Background
Turbidity currents occur frequently of southwest Taiwn. Foraminifera enriched in turbidites. By analyzing the distribution of benthic foraminifera may help us to understand the sources of water depth of turbidity currents, this may allow us to distinguish the turbidits origins as earthquake-induced "Seismo-tubidite" or flood-induced "hyperpycnites". My research attempt to establish the background distribution of deep-marine benthic foraminifera of this area, providing basic foraminifera species variations with variating depth.
